Aggregation and transport of different traffic types is critical for a smooth migration to next generation services. The Calix C7 is unique in its ability to aggregate and transport different traffic types—Ethernet/IP, ATM, and TDM. In addition, the C7 has the capability to convert protocols in the process of aggregating and transporting this traffic—for example, ATM to Ethernet/IP and TDM voice to packet-based voice.
